The education landscape across the U.S. is comprised of millions of teachers and students, thousands of districts and myriad challenges. The HOSP Board of Directors articulate a diverse and focused agenda with targeted ways to support STEM education policy at the federal level; in states where we think we can make a difference; and in program activities that continue to build high quality teachers and exceptional materials programs for students across the country.
In 2011 and 2012, all HOSP’s activities contribute to Making Science Count. We believe that if STEM topics and methods remain second to math and language arts, we will lose generations of talented young people who could easily be proficient in the other academic domains through an inquiry and hands-on approach. See how HOSP aims to Make Science Count.
